Hurghada boasts very little rainfall and average temperatures that soar into the upper 30s during the summer months with warm sea temperatures all year round.

To the north of Hurghada is the historic old town El Dahar with a warren of narrow streets, a Christian Coptic Church, traditional souks and local nightlife of traditional Egyptian coffee shops. In the middle is Sekalla with its many restaurants, bars and nightclubs, also home to the recently restored Mosque, Old Habour and nearby new Marinahousing an exclusive selection of shops, with excellent restaurants. Hurghada Red Light District Memsha lays in the south of Hurghada the main resort area, with its modern Hotel developments stretching the coastal road.

It is part of the Hurghada Red Light District Sea Riviera and is a sophisticated beach resort of islands and interlinked lagoons, coral reefs and sandy beaches, popular for its wealth of watersports as well as its dining and evening entertainment.

It has an excellent infrastructure and superb services as well as natural beaches and year-round sunshine. There are three main areas in El Gouna; Downtown, Tamr Henna Square, with its palm trees, shops, cafes and outside seating and the Abu Tig Marina lined with restaurants, bars and an excellent selection Hurghada Red Light District quality boutiques offering jewellery, local crafts and clothing.

There are several beaches, among them Mangroovy Beach, popular with kitesurfers, Zeytuna Beach situated on its own island,and Moods Beach. It also has a number of islands and coral reefs with excellent diving and snorkeling.

The nearby Abu Hasheesh Island is a local protectorate containing a thriving community of marine life. The pier at Sahl Hasheesh is extensive, stretching meters over the clear, blue waters of the Red Sea. Tourists can find something of a treasure, a partly submerged artificial city, this historic underwater pharonic city was part of Sahl Hasheesh Bay, which sank thousands of years ago.

This artificial reef attracts fish and is a favourite with tourists for diving and snorkeling. It is located about 30 kilometers south of Hurghada on the Red Sea and nestles gently between serene desert, sand dunes and the red sea mountains.

With its long beautiful stretches of soft white sand, clear waters and inshore reefs home to extremely beautiful marine life, this idyllic destination is ideal for lovers of snorkeling and diving. Within the resort is Makadi Mall, which offers a wide range of al la carte dining egyptian, indian,chinese, italian and french restaurants along with regular evening entertainment.

In addition there are several shopping boutiques in this beautifully designed moorish style arcade reflective of a traditional souk. Water sports are particularly popular here, the kite surfing conditions are ranked as one of top three kite spots worldwide.
